Always Innovate

Taekwondo, all martial arts, is about overcoming obstacles. It's not necessarily about beating the opponent senseless. Check out this video of a bouncer dealing with a very aggressive customer.

That bouncer played that well. All of us could learn something from that video in how to defuse a tough scenario with words. Made for a very amusing watch as well. lol

Yes, the bouncer kept his cool and made his point at the same time. A win-win situation. If he did not know the guy's brother, it might have been different, but I think the bouncer still would have prevailed--he was that good.

Yeah - it was funny and felt good to see the good guy coming out on top. Best yet, he did it with his brains rather than brawn. :-)

Agreed; that bouncer played it really well. I also agree that it might have played out differently if he didn't know the brother, but all the same that dude walked away with his tail between his legs.

Oh I was weeping! "First of all my mother is too old for you..." Or "your brother will kick your ass hefty."

Great verbal kung fu!

Professionalism at its finest moment, a loudmouth like that could have lost his jaw if Michael wasn't patient.
A true martial artist!

Yes ... a proud moment for all martial artists!!! :-)

And a chance to laugh at a real wanker!

I agree. Keeping your cool is important when facing the public. The media love nothing better than to crucify a martial artist when someone gets arsey and they think they can get away with anything.

That's a person who have studied martial arts and really learn. Self-discipline is one of the hardest lesson in our art and he practiced it,greatly.
